Job summary

Twelve Oaks Recovery Center in Navarre, FL is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Associate for the 3pm–11:30pm shift on alternating weekends. You will provide direct patient care under clinical direction, lead groups or individual sessions, and support daily living activities while promoting patient safety and therapeutic engagement.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to reinforce treatment goals, monitor progress, and adapt care in a compassionate, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with the facility's population preferred.
• 6 months experience as BHA2 preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient well-being in a supportive, structured environment under supervision.
• Obtain vital signs, height and weight; document information accurately.
• Engage with patients to promote treatment goals and participate in sessions.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and assist with safety, seclusion or restraint when necessary.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and community return.
• Monitor behavioral changes and report to nurses immediately.
