Job summary

Mountain Laurel Recovery Center in Westfield, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I for the 2nd shift. You will monitor clients, provide supervision, record data, and respond to crises as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience with the target population preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and supervise a structured environment.
• Conduct safety checks and monitor for contraband.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Engage clients in activities and encourage participation in groups.
• Facilitate educational/rehabilitative groups on social and coping skills.
• Prepare and file client charts and incident reports as needed.
• Provide transfers or transportation for clients when required.
