Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or social work, active RN or LSW licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health hospital highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Handles service requests: initial response, assessment, referrals, admission, and follow-up.
• Performs initial evaluation; documents symptoms, needs, and informs MD for LOC.
• Delivers prompt, courteous service to patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers.
• Knows Emergency Detention paperwork and EMTALA processes.
• Manages preadmission/admission paperwork and pre-certifications with insurers.
