Beckett Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Assessment Specialist, RN, Behavioral Health to join our night-shift team. The role focuses on initial response, admission decisions, and coordination of care for adults and geriatric patients in a behavioral health setting.

You will document assessments, support physicians with LOC determinations, and ensure accurate preadmission paperwork and insurance pre-certifications.

Qualificações

• Applicants should have an RN license in the state of OH.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients preferred.
• Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates response to a request for services, including the initial response, the assessment, and referral process.
• Documentation of patient symptomology, functioning, and needs for LOC determination.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers.
• Maintains preadmission/admission paperwork and completes pre-certification with insurance companies.
• Knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and EMTALA.
