Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CDCA or agreement to obtain CDCA within program timeframe.
• Current enrollment in an academic program preparing for certification/licensure as chemical dependency professional.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete learning and professional development plan with supervisor.
• Maintain attendance and complete required coursework.
• Prepare and maintain confidential client case files.
• Adhere to documentation requirements and program policies.
• Assist with determining client appropriateness for services using DSM/ICD criteria and ASAM dimensions.
• Assist with intake and maintain documentation in EHR.
• Orient clients to facility, rules, hours, rights, and costs.
