Job summary

Attain Behavioral Health in Beachwood, OH is seeking a dedicated Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to provide counseling to individuals with substance use disorders. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, individual/group/family therapy, case management, and coordination with other professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid LCDC license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use counseling or related field.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).

• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Provide case management and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate clients and families about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Crisis interventions as needed.
