Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Behavioral Health Aide Trainee in Bethel to assist licensed clinicians with village-based assessments, crisis stabilization, and case management. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and plan to advance through certification; two years in community services is preferred.

Bilingual Yup’ik/English is a plus, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; plan to advance through certification.
• Two years experience in Community Services; may include volunteer work with documentation.
• Must be able to communicate and present data verbally, in writing, and electronically; flexible with work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed clinician, conducts village-based assessments, crisis stabilization, and case management.
• Performs screenings and rehabilitation services aligned with education and experience.
• Maintains effective written and verbal communication; uses technology to retrieve and present information.
