Job summary

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Alaska seeks a Behavioral Health Aide Trainee for Nightmute to work under a licensed clinician. You will assist with village-based assessments, crisis stabilization, case management, screenings and rehab services, while pursuing required certifications.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, proficiency with data entry, and flexibility to work independently within approved guidelines. Yup’ik/English bilingual ability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in Community Services; flexible with schedule.
• Must commit to advancing through a certification program.
• Bilingual Yup’ik/English/Regional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide village-based substance use assessments and crisis stabilization.
• Perform case management, screenings and rehabilitation services.
• Coordinate with licensed clinicians and document interactions.
