Job summary

Family & Children’s Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a Behavioral Health Aide to support clients facing behavioral and emotional challenges. You will implement care plans under supervision, facilitate therapeutic activities, and help clients reach treatment goals.

Responsibilities include educating families on coping strategies, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A valid driver’s license is required, and several certifications may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 60 college credit hours or up to two years of relevant care experience.
• Must obtain ODMHSAS Case Manager I Certification within 60 days of eligibility.
• Behavioral Health Aide Certification after hire.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing care plans under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities with clients to support treatment goals.
• Support clients in achieving treatment goals and coping strategies.
• Educate clients and families on coping strategies and progress.
• Monitor client progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
