Job summary

The Recovery Village in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead nursing operations on a unit, mentor staff, and support the DON. The role emphasizes patient care, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across departments.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with 2+ years in behavioral health and prior leadership experience. A higher education degree is preferred, and the position offers a stable schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; licensed RN as required by state law.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a licensed RN with Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the appropriate state, as applicable, required.
• Prior leadership/supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve pending issues from the previous shift (labs, treatments, admissions, discharges, continuity of care).
• Coordinate and plan admission workflow; manage scheduling and observation sheets.
• Oversee medication storage, disposal, and pharmacy communications.
• Maintain unit staffing per census; coordinate with other departments for patient care.
