Job summary

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Admissions Coordinator in Franklin, TN to manage inquiry responses and coordinate the admission process for behavioral health services.

You will collaborate with executives, office coordinators, and referral partners while guiding clients through insurance options and treatment choices. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in behavioral health are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in combined education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with mental health challenges.
• Admissions experience in a fast-paced environment, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming telephone inquiries with empathetic and knowledgeable assistance.
• Coordinate information and communication across multiple admission phases.
• Assess client needs, symptoms, and preferences to align services.
• Follow predefined call procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
• Facilitate smooth admissions by communicating with admissions decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Explain insurance coverage, financing options, and payment arrangements to clients.
• Guide clients and families through treatment choices and access barriers.
• Determine levels of care during pre-admission screenings.
• Schedule tours and admissions to ensure smooth transitions for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing education and materials.
