Universal Health Services in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks an Intake RN to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments and coordinate admission processes for potential patients in our Southeast Behavioral Hospital. You will liaise with referral sources, families, and unit staff while supporting insurance verification and authorization needs.

Required are an accredited nursing degree, MO RN licensure, CPR, and experience in behavioral health or substance abuse settings; weekend/overtime

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Current Missouri RN license required; CPR and Handle with Care training.
• Bachelor's degree may be preferred per role.

Responsabilités

• Perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments to identify appropriate level of care.
• Coordinate referral intake and admission processes; communicate with families, referral sources and staff.
• Collaborate with Business Office for patient financial data and insurance verification/prior auth.
