Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking an Admissions (A&R) RN to guide patients and families through the admission process and ensure access to appropriate levels of care. This role blends strong clinical assessment with exceptional customer service in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas RN license (or compact-state eligibility), current BLS, and HWC de-escalation certification.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or compact-state eligibility.
• Current BLS certification.
• HWC de-escalation certification.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and treatment modalities.
• Understanding of insurance plans and managed care processes.
• Proficiency with Windows and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine levels of care.
• Evaluate psychosocial, emotional, and behavioral health needs across age groups.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate authorization processes.
• Coordinate intake appointments and admission activities.
• Document assessments, referrals, and interactions accurately.
• Respond to high-volume calls, referrals, and walk-in assessments.
