Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking an Admissions (A&R) Clinician to be the primary contact for individuals seeking mental health treatment. You will conduct intake assessments, determine appropriate levels of care, and guide patients and families through the admission process.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, knowledge of insurance processes, and collaboration with treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with active clinical licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-Associate, or LMFT) required.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles, practices, and treatment modalities.
• Proficiency with insurance plans, PPOs, and managed care processes.
• Strong clinical assessment and de-escalation skills.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine levels of care.
• Coordinate with patients, families, and treatment teams for admissions.
• Document assessments and referrals accurately.
• Respond to high-volume calls and walk-in assessments.
• Maintain collaboration with nursing, business office, and referral sources.
