Job summary

Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services seeks a qualified professional for the Behavioral Health Access Programs Administrative Lead. This role acts as the primary administrative lead for statewide initiatives including APAL, CoCM grant activities, and VMAP.

It requires collaboration with state and federal agencies, vendors, and professional bodies. The position is grant-funded through Sep 30, 2027, with continued employment contingent on funding.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational planning including large-scale project implementation and/or administrative oversight.
• Experience with report writing using health data for program evaluation.
• Knowledge of emerging practices and effective systems of care for behavioral health.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Windows, MS Word, MS Exchange, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Administrative skills including organization, time management, and discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish relationships with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative operations for APAL, CoCM, and VMAP oversight.
• Coordinate activities with vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide contract administration and vendor oversight.
• Monitor vendor deliverables and program metrics and participate in data work groups.
• Represent DBHDS on relevant committees.
