Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services seeks an Administrative Lead to oversee Virginia's integrated behavioral health initiatives, including the statewide Adult Psychiatric Access Line (APAL), the Collaborative Care Model grant program, and the Virginia Mental Health Access Project.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operational planning, large-scale project implementation, procurement processes, contract management, and funding oversight.
  • Experience with report writing using health data for program evaluation.
  • Knowledge of emerging practices and effective systems of care for behavioral health.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Word, MS Exchange, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and data software.
  • Strong administrative skills including self-initiative, organization, time management, and discretion with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective relationships with diverse groups.
