Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related field is required or an RN may substitute.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) may substitute for the educational requirement.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and streamline the behavioral health admission process.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments across age groups.
• Facilitate admissions to inpatient and outpatient services based on criteria.
• Coordinate alternative placements when admission is not appropriate.
• Identify and address barriers to admission and access to care.
• Ensure intake/admission documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Guide patients and families from intake through episode of care.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and case managers.
• Track patient progress and outcomes across the continuum of care.
