Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults with developmental and mental health needs in a structured daytime setting. You will lead engaging activities, promote independence, and foster community inclusion.

You will guide individuals through daily living skills, documentation, and safe transport, while gaining training in medication administration and crisis prevention. Join a mission-driven team focused on growth and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and progress toward personal goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during program hours, transportation and outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
