Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) with a Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.

This hands-on role provides therapeutic services to children, youth, and families, with flexible hours and a competitive weekly pay structure. The position offers opportunities for licensed supervision, requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, and prefers bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work or related field.
• Licensed staff (LBS, LSW, LMSW, or LPC) preferred.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to youth and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EHR experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Job description

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position

Huntingdon County Program is looking for a Behavioral Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) candidate holding a Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.

This is a hands-on position providing therapeutic services to children, youth , and families.

Duties Include But Not Limited To

• Direct therapy/counseling


• Treatment plan development and implementation of treatment plans.


• The person in this position adheres to and carries out the YAP philosophy, mission, and core principles.


• Opportunities for licensed supervision may be available.

Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.

Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.

Flexible Hours

Non-Traditional/Evenings and Weekends may be required.

Hourly Pay

$40 per hour.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work or related field


• Licensed Staff (LBS, LSW, LMSW, or LPC) or staff with BS Licensure is preferred


• Experience providing therapeutic services to youth and families.


• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using an Electronic Health Record System is preferred


• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.


• Bilingual is preferred.
