Job summary

Advocates in Brockton, MA seeks a Behavioral Consultant to provide behavioral consultation, intervention and therapy for individuals referred by DDS. The role includes directing and supervising staff, ensuring effective program delivery, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Candidates should hold a Master's degree with licensure as a Psychologist or BCBA and have a minimum of 3 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, plus at least 2 years of

Licensed Psychologist or BCBA credential required.
Minimum 3 years experience with developmentally disabled individuals with severe behavior problems.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical consultation to individuals with developmental disabilities, families, residential programs, vocational programs and schools as referred by DDS.
Develops assessment, intervention and monitoring strategies.
Coordinates and/or provides training for staff working with individuals with developmental disabilities on caseload.
Assists in training, supervision and evaluation of Behavioral Treatment Specialists.
Manages fiscal resources for the program.
Responds to referrals for emergency evaluations and interventions as requested by DDS.
Provides on-call services as part of rotation.
