Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. This role focuses on one-to-one behavioral intervention and data collection under a Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in an educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provide/assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
