Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role includes providing one-to-one behavior intervention services, supporting daily activities, and data collection under a Behavior Support Plan.

The position offers competitive pay ($29-$30/hr), weekly paychecks, paid training, supervision from a BCBA, flexible scheduling (PT/FT), and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with individuals with challenging or aggressive behaviors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor areas.
• Assist with personal care activities and crisis intervention as needed.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals from the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)
• Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
