Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Behavioral Caregivers in Vallejo, California to support children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. You will work with a BCBA to implement care plans and help families maintain daily living routines at home.

Starting pay is $22-$25 per hour for part-time and full-time roles, with benefits for full-time staff and paid training. Join a dedicated team providing compassionate, in-home behavioral care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children
• TB test updated

Responsibilities

• Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to individual clients as instructed by Clinical Leadership and based on individual treatment plans.
• Implements the goals/objectives for an individual as defined in the treatment plan.
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, behavior, and crisis intervention.
• Assists client with personal care activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Behavioral Caregiver's at Maxim Healthcare Services provide support and caregiving needs for children and adults with developmental delays and/or challenging behaviors. Behavioral Technician's work closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement the behavioral care plan and keep track of the clients’ progress through each session. As well as assisting family members on maintaining the client in his/her home by relieving the family members from basic self-help needs and other activities of daily living including interaction, socialization, and continuation of daily routines.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to individual clients as instructed by Clinical Leadership and based on individual treatment plans
• Implements the goals/objectives for an individual as defined in the treatment plan
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, behavior, and crisis intervention
• Assists client with personal care activities
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
