Job summary

In STEPPS is seeking a Behavioral Therapist (Technician) to work 1:1 with children in home, school, or daycare settings using ABA and PRT approaches. The role emphasizes play-based sessions, data collection, and collaboration with a supervisory team.

The position offers mileage reimbursement, a sign-on bonus for active RBTs, and opportunities for mentorship and growth within a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required.
• Clean criminal background check required.
• 4–8 months of ABA experience or experience in a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients using ABA and PRT strategies.
• Complete data collection, in-service notes and procedures as outlined by Supervisors.
• Participate in trainings, evaluations and team meetings.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with team members.
• Bring required materials (toys, iPad, etc.) as needed.
• Follow schedule as determined by administrative staff and supervisors.
• Comply with all reporting requirements including payroll and billing information.
