Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in North Plains, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviours.

Training is provided, and you’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive team. The role requires empathy, patience, and physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate; able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviours.
• Engage with children in a safe, supportive environment and document progress.
