Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support one-on-one ABA treatment for children from birth to 21 in a center-based setting in Nashville. The BT works with BCBA-approved plans and helps families implement strategies to improve daily functioning and communication.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a passion for working with children, and reliable transportation. Training is provided, with benefits including paid training, guaranteed hours, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children or adults with behavioral challenges preferred.
• Experience with ASD or developmental disabilities preferred; training provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations; HIPAA confidentiality adherence.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report results.
• Support families with training on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Assist clients with physical activity during sessions and stay engaged with children ages 2-15.
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
