Job summary

Centria in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team to help you grow in the field of Behavioral Analysis.

Role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills. Pay range is $19–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
