Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing personalized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute from day one. The role involves physical activity and light lifting up to 50 pounds, and offers a pay rate of $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under supervision of BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Provide support to families and caregivers.
