Job summary

United Care ABA in Bethpage, NY, is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You’ll implement individualized plans, track progress, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus.
• Willingness to pursue RBT certification within first few months of employment (required).
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Long-term interest in growing within ABA, including pursuing advanced care roles such as Behavior Technician and BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized ABA therapy.
• Follow treatment plans and interventions to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills.
• Accurately record session data and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Build strong, consistent relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
