Job summary

Catalyst is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with Autism in the Farmington, Utah area. This full-time role offers on-site work with flexible scheduling and comprehensive training.

You will provide one-on-one behavioral interventions under supervision, maintain detailed progress notes, and collaborate with BCBA and families to achieve goals. RBT certification is valued, and support for ongoing professional development is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check (including fingerprints).
• Must have at least 1 year experience working with Children.
• Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Maintain BLS Certification (On-Site training provided for BLS).

What You Will Do

A Behavior Technician provides one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
RBTs may work with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community.
Each Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will continue to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
Effective communication with supervisors and parents is essential to the RBT’s success and must be present at all times.
RBTs will complete a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.

Other Responsibilities Include The Following

• Understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interpreting and accurately performing all assigned responsibilities.
• Pairing and building rapport with clients, families, stakeholders and their Team members.
• Attending all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
• Recording detailed session notes, keeping accurate client data in real-time, and maintaining records well documented.
• Observing confidentiality and safeguarding all patient-related information.
• Demonstrating effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
• Maintaining a clean and neat work environment.
• Demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
• Exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
