Job summary

Silveira Behavior Consultants is seeking a dedicated ABA professional to deliver therapy in 1:1 or small group settings for children with autism and developmental disorders. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, collect data, and maintain clinical documentation.

The role requires an active RBT certification, experience with autism, and a willingness to participate in ongoing staff training. Scrubs are required and a full-time schedule (32–40 hours) is expected.

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification required.
  • Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA therapy in 1:1 or small group format.
  • Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans.
  • Collect data in Theralytics data system.
  • Generate and maintain billing and clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with client families and related professionals.
  • Uphold BACB ethical guidelines and HIPAA for PHI.
  • Participate in staff training and wear scrubs.
  • Commit to 32–40 hours per week (full time).

Responsibilities
  • Delivering ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format.
  • Accurately implementing skill acquisition programs and individual treatment plans.
  • Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans.
  • Collecting data in a data collection system called Theralytics.
  • Generating and maintaining accurate billing and clinical documentation.
  • Collaborating with client families and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress and behavioral concerns.
  • Upholding company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines.
  • Maintaining Private Health Information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Participating in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continue learning and improving performance.
  • Collaborating on design and preparation of program materials.
  • Must wear scrubs.
  • Ability to complete 32-40 hours per week (full time requirement).

Qualifications
  • Possess an active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT; required)
  • Have a year of experience in working with children with autism and/or related developmental disabilities (required)
  • Are pursuing (with at least 2 years completed) and/or hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood Education, etc.; highly preferred, but not required)

  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to collect and record data consistently and precisely
  • Punctuality, reliability, and consistency in sessions
  • Ability to stay calm during challenging behaviors
  • Follows instructions from BCBAs and other supervisors accurately (Implements behavior plans and teaching procedures commitment)
  • Willingness to adjust to client needs or environmental changes
