Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy for children ages 2 to 6 at our Colorado Springs center. You’ll implement plans created by master’s-level clinicians and report progress to families, while bringing hands-on experience from caregiving or education into a supportive clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree program in child development, psychology, education, or related field.
• Experience with children is preferred, including childcare, caregiving, paraprofessional, direct support, or behavioral health roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, teamwork, and comfort using computers/tablets.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, move quickly, run short distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children.
• Implement individualized plans created by Master's-level clinicians and share progress with families.
• Bring skills from childcare, daycare, education, caregiving, or paraprofessional work into a highly supported clinical environment.
