Job summary

CHOP - Soar Autism Center is seeking Behavior Technicians to help children ages 2-6 with autism through play-based ABA, applying the Early Start Denver Model in a supportive clinical setting.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, are prepared to obtain RBT certification within six weeks of start, and have prior experience with children. Paid training, opportunities for raises, and a guaranteed 30 hours per week for full-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Residency or certification details may be verified.
• RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment preferred or required after training.
• Experience with children is preferred, from childcare, daycare, paraprofessional, direct care, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in our center.
• Implement individualized plans created by Master’s-level clinicians and share progress with families.
• Apply skills from childcare, education, or caregiving in a supported clinical setting.
