Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Colorado offers a visible role as a Behavior Technician or RBT to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6. You will work under Masters-level clinicians, implementing intervention plans and updating families on progress within the ABA framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT).
• Willingness to enroll in or complete a degree program; bonus for degrees in Child Development or Psychology.
• Must achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks; paid training provided.
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
• Experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality essential.
• Able to meet physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, sit/stand, crawl/kneel, etc.
• Computer and tablet literacy.
• Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
