Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to implement individualized support plans across diverse settings including schools, clinics, homes, and community environments throughout our service region.

You will work 1:1 and in groups, read and implement treatment plans, and collect data for timely documentation. Training will occur with supervision by BCBA/BSC, with post-training permanent placements anticipated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
• 1 year minimum of working with children
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
• 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes
