Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) for the Pottstown, PA area. The role supports diverse clients across schools, homes, clinics, and community-based environments, with training and flexible placement after initial phase.

The position offers full-time, non-exempt hours with a 25–40 hour weekly range and potential start times. A CR/RBT path is provided with supervision by BCBA/BSC and eligibility for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
• 1 year minimum of working with children
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

Education
