Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking entry-level Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for part-time, on-site shifts across our Utah locations. Hourly wages range from $18.50 to $23.00, with extra increases for RBT certification and paid on-the-job training.

Eligible employees receive mileage reimbursement, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off as they earn hours. No prior experience is required; we provide training on the job.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Ability to learn data collection software and basic office tools.
• A heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
