Job summary

Strides ABA seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy for children with developmental disabilities. You will work under a BCBA, implement individualized plans, collect data, and use positive reinforcement to promote meaningful progress.

Part-time position with 3:00 PM-6:00 PM sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, offering opportunities for growth and flexible nearby cases. HIPAA compliance and professional conduct are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families.

As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In this role, the Registered Behavior Technician RBTwill implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life. The Registered Behavior Technician RBTis key to delivering structured therapy and ensuring consistent progress. Our ideal Registered Behavior Technician RBT will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential. • Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting.

• Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed.
