Job summary

Finni South New Mexico is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to provide in-home, one-on-one ABA intervention under a BCBA supervision. You will collect data, support families, and help children learn new skills in the home setting.

Open part-time hours (<30 hrs/week) with morning availability preferred; compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour and includes paid training and RBT certification assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• Reliable transportation.
• CPR certification (Preferred).
• RBT certification (Preferred but not required).
• This role involves using technology daily, including tablets for real-time data collection and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child's home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
• Attend team meetings.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You'll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child's home setting

Collect and record data on child behaviors

Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

Attend team meetings

What You'll Need

Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

Reliable Transportation

Active CPR certification (Preferred)

RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)

This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.

Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

CPR Certification (Required)

RBT certification (Preferred but not required)
