Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children and adolescents. You’ll use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills, and follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.

The role offers paid training and opportunities for growth, with an afternoon shift and flexible hours. No ABA experience is required—we provide hands-on training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Patient, reliable, and compassionate with children.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license; able to travel 15–20 miles.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
• Track progress and document session notes.
• Communicate with supervisors and scheduling team.
