Job summary

ABA Centers of America in Springfield, MA is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician (BT). The role supports delivering ABA therapy, teaching communication and daily living skills in various settings, under BCBA supervision.

Starting pay is $21.25/hour for BTs with potential for growth through our training programs, mentorship, and the ABA Academy of Excellence to prepare for the RBT exam. Availability includes weekdays afternoons and possibly Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
