Job summary

ABS Kids in Charlotte, NC is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism using ABA-based techniques. Entry-level candidates welcome; on-the-job training provided and opportunities to advance to RBT certification with company support.

Shifts run 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with pay between $18.00 and $24.00 per hour plus benefits including 401(k) match, PTO, and paid training. No prior experience required beyond a passion for helping kids.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs (on resume/apply).
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Use ABA-based play and data collection to teach real-life skills.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
