Job summary

ABS Kids in Huntersville, NC seeks part-time Behavior Technicians, from entry level to RBTs. Availability 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with flexible shifts and on-the-job training.

You’ll receive $18.00-$24.00 per hour, a $500-$1,000 bonus based on experience, paid RBT certification, mileage reimbursement, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
• A heart for helping kids
• A calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and use basic office software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
