Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism using ABA approaches. We offer flexible, part-time shifts (8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday) with a wage of $18.00–$24.00 per hour and a $500–$1000 bonus based on experience. On-the-job training and RBT certification are provided.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs (resume required).
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play with children.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one‑on‑one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
