Job summary

ABS Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. Availability required 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. We offer bonuses, RBT certification reimbursement, and paid training.

Join a nationwide team providing one-on-one ABA therapy, data collection, and skill development in client homes and settings, with mileage reimbursement and a 401(k) plan. No experience? We will train you on the job.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting)
• A heart for helping kids
• A calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
