Job summary

Galliant is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism in a clinic setting. You will deliver evidence-based procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors and improve daily living and communication skills, while receiving mentorship from BCBA-D professionals.

Starting pay is $18.00–$19.00 per hour with a clear path for raises every 6 months, and a full benefits package including health insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior ABA/healthcare experience needed; training provided.
• Ability to work in a clinic setting with children.

What to Expect:

As a Behavior Technician working one-on-one with children with Autism in a supportive clinic setting, you will:

• Run individualized procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors, enhance functional daily living skills, and improve functional communication.

• Support the acceptance of neurodiversity, provide compassionate, assent-based care, and truly prioritize the wants and needs of your clients.

• Use a tablet to collect session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes.

Who You Are:

• All Backgrounds Welcomed & Valued: Great for candidates transitioning out of early childhood education, daycare centers, special education assistant roles, caregiving, medical assisting, retail, hospitality, or recent grads looking for stable daytime clinical hours (prior experience in these fields is welcomed, but not required!).

• Education & Prerequisites: High school diploma, GED, or higher.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from the clinic daily.

• Physical Stamina: Ready to stay active! You must be able to sit, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move or run quickly when necessary to engage at a child's level and maintain strict safety protocols.
