Job summary

ABS Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians in Malibu, CA to support children with autism using ABA techniques. You will work a flexible part-time schedule, with shifts 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, and you will collect data on client progress while delivering one-on-one support. No experience?

No problem — we will train you on the job, including preparing for RBT certification. Paid drive time, mileage reimbursement, 401(k) + match, and PTO are offered to valued team

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills
• Get up/down off floor often, move quickly
