Job summary

ABS Kids in Poway, CA is seeking entry-level Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA-based activities. We offer part-time shifts and a bilingual pay premium for Spanish/English speakers, plus assistance with RBT certification.

You will collect data, implement skill-building routines, and work one-on-one with clients in homes or community settings while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Willingness to learn our data collection software and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Use play, ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
