Job summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support students in a K-8 setting using applied behavior analysis. Job Description

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K‑8 district.

The Behavioral Technician will:

  • Provide support, monitoring, direct instruction, and training using applied behavior analysis techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem‑solving for students with behavioral challenges.
  • Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Worksite: Site may vary
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week – 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Benefits: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • Requirements for Applying: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; prior job‑related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders.
  • Required Licenses and Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and maintenance or obtain within the first year of employment; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification as provided by the District, and Maintain CPR certification as provided by the District.

  • A proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application.
  • It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x‑ray.
