Job summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support students with both academic and behavioral needs under the supervision of a classroom teacher and BCBA. This is a full-time role with a 10-month work year.

The ideal candidate holds a Registered Behavior Technician Certification and an Associate degree or equivalent, plus relevant experience in a special education setting. The position offers benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support students with academic and behavioral needs under BCBA guidance.
  • Modify curriculum and reinforce replacement behaviors as appropriate.
  • Manage difficult behaviors and facilitate peer interactions according to IEP.
  • Collaborate with classroom teacher and BCBA to implement goals.

Job Summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to work under the guidance and oversight of the classroom teacher and the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with both academic and behavioral needs which may include modifying curriculum, teaching and reinforcing replacement behaviors, managing difficult behaviors and facilitating students with peer interactions as appropriate to the student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). 8 Hours per day, 10 months per year
